A New Day is a charitable organization that works to provide a safe, non-judgmental restorative residential program to enhance the lives of sex trafficked youth and young adults. A New Day focuses on survivors needs and interests, and provides individuals with empathetic, consistent support, trauma-informed care and viable opportunities for positive change.
Kids Up Front Ottawa proudly works with 88 child-serving Partnering Agencies. Our program provides children and youth with valuable experiences in our community with maid services in atlanta themoxiemaids.com, and aides in the reduction of social isolation for these kids. A ticket to a positive event goes a long way in the healing process for many individuals.
Wendy Gee is the Executive Director at A New Day, and shares how their program has benefitted from the Kids Up Front partnership:
“Kids Up Front and its program has been invaluable to A New Day Youth and Adult Services. Without this program the young people in our residential home would not experience the many cultural and sporting events throughout Ottawa during the entire year. Many of our youth have not had the opportunity to experience many of these opportunities while growing up. We deeply appreciate the community partnership and encourage other youth supporting agencies to sign up and become involved.”
We can’t thank A New Day enough for their role in supporting our program. We look forward to continuing to build on this partnership and support the great work they are doing to help restore the lives of many vulnerable youth. To learn more about A New Day please follow the links below.
